A consultation is the best way for me to understand how I can treat your symptoms. One-time consults are a great way to gauge symptoms, goals for yourself, and what tools you’ll need to get there. This is how we'll find out if that’s through cognitive behavioral therapy, short-term therapy, or further testing.


In our therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. These include cognitive restructuring, relaxation training, mindfulness, exposure therapy, problem-solving, and acceptance-based strategies, all of which have been shown by research to facilitate measurable changes in mood and behavior.  I am confident that you will find my personalized private counseling beneficial in achieving concrete improvements in the way that you cope with stress.
